Microsofts Storage Sollution - Windows live service: FolderShare

A windows live service, does the same trick for the end user as ORB, with one big difference: It needs syncing!
I used to love syncing. My contact data for example: I need to have the same contact data available on every device. One needs access to sync but not a lot of bandwith. However, why sync (after uploading the data the first time) if you can have your pc serve in the first place???
ALL ;-) one needs is a good connection, both on the upload (ADSL) as well as the download site (UMTS, WiFi, WiMax)!!!!

FolderShare - File Transfer & Remote File Access - Product Overview: "FolderShareTM allows you to create a private peer-to-peer network that will help you to synchronize files across multiple devices and access or share files with colleagues and friends. You no longer need to send large files via email, burn them to CDs/DVDs and mail them, or upload them to a website. FolderShare allows you to share and sync important information instantly with anyone you invite, making it the perfect solution for personal or small business use."
